Wrinkle-lipped Horseshoe Bat

Wrinkle-lipped Horseshoe Bat, Rhinolophus sp.
Panti Forest, Malaysia
27 February 2013

While birding in the Panti Forest we came across this shrine under the overhang of a rock. It formed a dark cave in which there was a fairly large colony of Wrinkled-lipped Horseshoe Bats. I can identify it as to genus but not to species. If anyone is able to do so please leave a comment below.

I'm a life long birder. My interests are birds, nature, reading, books, outdoors, travel, food and wine.
