Yellow-billed Duck Anas undulata
Ethiopia
January 2014
Yellow-billed Duck must surely be one of the most descriptively named ducks of all. We saw this species in several locations in Ethiopia and it is, in fact, widespread through southern and eastern Africa.
Hello David,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of the Yellow-billed Duck.
Greetings Irma
They are beautiful. Wonderful shots !
ReplyDeleteGreetings
I had to look that one up David A local African name seems to be "geelbekeend". Think I prefer Yellow-billed Duck as much more descriptive. Nice pictures to show that very distinctive bill.
ReplyDeleteKolor dziobów bardzo zdobi te śliczne kaczki. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteColor beaks very adorns these beautiful ducks. Yours.
