Chickadees about to fledge

    As you can see from the picture below our little chickadees are thriving and growing in leaps and bounds. They now have a full coat of juvenal plumage and appear ready to fledge any day. The parents have been industrious in the extreme and seem never to be free from a food run to the hungry young in the nest. It has been a pleasure observing the development of these birds.
