    1. Just think how the world has changed in his lifetime, and how we have ruined the living world he cherishes.

  7. David Attenborough is the most extraordinary broadcaster who ever lived. He filmed in black and white and in colour, in HD and 4K. He presented, narrated and produced some of the most celebrated nature documentaries, and he managed to get hundreds of millions of people of many generations excited by life's evolution. I wish him the very best 100th birthday, and I cannot wait to check out the huge concert that will broadcast live on BBC tonight! Some of his wildlife presenter colleagues, including Chris Packham and Steve Backshall, are set to make an appearance there!

  12. Absolutely.. He is a real treasure. What a pity we have not paid closer attention to his warnings about the destruction of the natural world.

    1. I think we have paid close attention. It’s the inaction that is the problem.
