  17. Thank you, David, for all your words of encouragement in 2019. We've started our Christmas today (24th), with a lunch at a Thai restaurant. Christmas day lunch, however, will be a picnic at a nearby nature reserve - Lindsay and I went to check it out today as I'd been told it was inaccessible through the floods, but we managed to get through as we've got plenty of ground (= water)clearance!

    I hope you both have a wonderful time - I'm looking forward to following your wildlife activities in 2020, so you better make sure that they're productive!!

    1. We got a head start this morning, Richard - two Snowy Owls, a female and a pristine white male. Had a beautiful Rough-legged Buzzard too.
