I am generally quite interested in reptiles but the venomous marine snakes are a new one on me. I have never been to New Zealand, though a couple of visits have been made to Australia. Remind me not to swim in the waters around anywhere there!! I see they are fairly docile and there is no record of anyone being bitten but I always believe in not taking stupid chances!
